Jigsaw Puzzle is a colorful picture-puzzle game: choose one of five vivid scenes — a jungle safari, an ocean reef, a space explorer, an enchanted forest, or a sunset city — then tap two pieces at a time to swap them back into their correct spot. Pick a grid size from a quick 3x3 warm-up to a tougher 5x5 challenge, watch the timer run the moment you make your first move, and see how few swaps it takes to bring the whole picture back together. Signed-in players can save their fastest solve to a live leaderboard, while guests can jump straight into a puzzle with zero setup.

Jigsaw Puzzle takes the classic picture-puzzle format — a scene chopped into a grid of pieces and scrambled — and rebuilds it for fast, tap-friendly browser play. Instead of dragging interlocking pieces around a table, you simply tap one piece and then tap another to swap their positions, which keeps the game equally comfortable on a phone screen or a desktop mouse. Every puzzle starts from one of five original scenes, each with its own colour palette and mood, so choosing a picture is part of the fun before you even start swapping.
Because any two pieces can be swapped at any time, every shuffle is guaranteed solvable — there's no risk of getting stuck in an impossible arrangement the way some sliding-tile puzzles can. That means the only thing standing between you and a finished picture is how efficiently you can spot where each piece belongs.
Tapping a piece selects it and gives it a highlighted border; tapping a second piece swaps the two immediately. Tap the same piece twice to deselect it without swapping. A piece sitting in its correct final spot gets a green border, giving you a running visual checklist of how much of the picture is already solved without having to study the preview constantly.
The Show Preview button overlays the full, unscrambled picture for a moment whenever you need to double-check where a tricky piece belongs — useful for scenes with large blocks of similar colour, like open sky or water, where a piece's exact position isn't always obvious from its edges alone.
Three grid sizes are available: 3x3 for nine pieces and a quick, relaxed round; 4x4 for a solid mid-level challenge; and 5x5 for twenty-five pieces that demand real pattern recognition, especially in scenes with repeating colours or textures. New players usually start on 3x3 to learn the swap mechanic, then move up to 4x4 and 5x5 once matching pieces to their spot starts feeling automatic.
Start with pieces that have a distinctive colour or shape — a sun, a face, a bright landmark — since those are the fastest to place correctly and immediately reduce how much of the board you need to keep scanning. Work outward from a few solved anchor pieces rather than jumping randomly across the grid, and use the green border feedback to quickly confirm a swap actually helped instead of second-guessing yourself.
Swap count matters as a tiebreaker on the leaderboard, so it also pays to pause for a second and plan a swap rather than trying pieces at random — a wasted swap costs both time and your efficiency score.
Jigsaw Puzzle suits casual players who enjoy classic picture puzzles but want a faster, mobile-friendly version, kids and families looking for a colourful, easy-to-explain game to play together, and competitive players chasing the fastest solve time on the leaderboard across all five pictures and every difficulty level.
