What Is Sort Nuts?

Sort Nuts belongs to a well-loved family of puzzle games often called "sort puzzles" — the challenge is always the same at its core: untangle a mixed-up collection of items, one move at a time, until everything is grouped by type. In Sort Nuts, the items are colorful hex nuts threaded onto vertical screws. It also helps to think one layer at a time rather than trying to solve the whole board at once: clear the topmost mismatched nut on each screw first, then work downward, re-checking after every move whether a new placement has opened up (or closed off) another screw.
